Gold Price Calculator Pakistan

Work out what your gold is worth in Pakistan, per tola and per gram, for 24K, 22K, 21K, or 18K. Use the live price, shown with its source and time, or enter a price of your own. The result is the indicative melt value only — making charges, wastage, taxes, and dealer buy/sell spreads are not included, and a jeweller’s price will differ.

Live gold price (USD) — for reference only

The widget below is from TradingView and shows the XAUUSD price in US dollars per troy ounce. It is display-only: it does not feed this calculator, and its price is never copied into any field. Your result still uses the live API price in PKR per tola, or the price you enter yourself. The widget loads only when you scroll to it, so it does not slow down the calculator above.

How it works

  1. Enter the weight of your gold, in tola or grams.
  2. Choose the karat — 24K is pure gold; 22K, 21K, and 18K contain other metals, so they are worth a fraction of the pure-gold price.
  3. Use the live price, or enter a price per tola you were quoted. The result is the purity-adjusted value, before making charges and taxes.

Weight in grams × price per gram × (karat ÷ 24). Price per gram is the price per tola ÷ 11.664, because 1 tola = 11.664 grams.

Worked example

Example, in symbols only — no price is shown here. One tola of 24K gold is worth the price per tola. Two tola of 22K gold is worth twice the price per tola × 22/24, because 22K gold is 22/24 pure. The result is the melt value only — making charges, wastage, taxes, and dealer spreads are not included.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of 1 tola of gold today?

The live price is shown at the top of this page, with the source it came from and the date and time it was last updated. If the price is stale, it is labelled stale with its last-updated time. No fixed price is shown here, because the price changes. If no live price is available, you can enter a price of your own instead.

How many grams are in 1 tola?

One tola is 11.664 grams. Enter a weight in tola or grams — both units are shown in your result, so the conversion is transparent.

What is the price of 22K / 21K / 18K gold per gram?

Divide the price per tola by the number of grams in one tola to get the price per gram for pure (24K) gold, then multiply by the karat fraction — karat divided by 24. So 22K gold uses 22 ÷ 24 of the pure-gold price per gram, 21K uses 21 ÷ 24, and 18K uses 18 ÷ 24. Your result shows the price per gram used.

Are making charges included?

No. The result is the indicative melt value only. Making charges, wastage, taxes, and dealer buy/sell spreads are not included, and no percentage for them is assumed. A jeweller’s price will differ.

What does "price entered by you" mean?

It is a price per tola that you type in yourself, for example a price you were quoted. It is labelled as a price entered by you, not a market rate, and it is shown without a source name or market time. The live price is never copied into that field.

What is the live gold chart on this page?

It is a TradingView widget shown for reference only. It displays the XAUUSD price in US dollars per troy ounce. It does not feed this calculator: your result still uses the live API price or the price you enter yourself, in PKR per tola. The widget is display-only and its price is not copied into any field.
